Leaped for Joy Today?

“So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life-- your sleeping, eating, going to work, and walking-around life -- and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity.

Romans 12:1,2 The Message

Have you leaped for joy today? Do you really stop to think that God is in control of life? That He has a purpose for you. If you did you would know that He does! All He ask from us is to lay our trials before Him on a daily basis. By doing this, you can begin to realize how your life will quickly change. He desires to bring us joy. He longs to be right in the middle of every thing. All we must learn to do is to leave it there!

Sometimes, however, that can be easier said than done. There are many circumstances that can throw us away from where we need to be. Still, once we have begun to see the “need,” we can then begin to change within ourselves. It becomes amazing to watch how God can take that soul and turn it inside out. The transformation is unbelievable. That is what God desire’s most for us!

Once the change has begun in our lives, we can see things more clearly. We can then recognize the joy that God can bring because we have learned to trust in Him. This allows us to “fix our attention on God!” While doing so, you can begin to realize the directions or plans He has for you. The sooner you can recognize the plans or directions you can begin to act on them. This will ultimately bring you to a much closer relationship with Him.

When the relationship has begun to develop, we can see how we are maturing in Him. This will allow us to experience His joy! When we follow the plan that God has chosen for our lives, we can then experience unmeasurable joy!

“You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.” Psalm 4:7 ESV
